Frequently asked questions

How many people can be on each team?

There is no limit to how many members can be on your team however only 3 members per team can participate in the In-Person workshop.

What’s included with the Flight Credits & Hotel Room?

Top 5 teams will each be granted 1 hotel room (per team) in Scottsdale, Arizona roughly 5 minutes away from the WGMI HQ. There will also be a $500 flight credit given to each team, costs above that will need to be covered by the team.

What dates will the 2 Day In-Person workshop take place?

The 2-day in person workshop dates are still to be determined. These official dates will be announced Week #8.

How will you make sure no one cheats the challenge?

Measures will be taken to verify all emails and data (open rates, analytics, etc). We will ask all potential winners to grant us access to their analytics to verify their waitlist, users, etc. We will be working closely with Product Hunt to make sure no teams are cutting corners.

Do all my team members need access to WGMI Academy?

Yes, to participate in the prizes for the top 5 teams each of the members on your team must be an active WGMI Academy member.

What happens if I don’t launch the MVP Live within the 10 Weeks, am I still eligIble TO WIN?

Yes you are still eligible, we don't expect every person to launch their application live within 10 weeks that is why the factors we are judging on are completion of all the tasks, waitlists, and product hunt rankings, and the idea. However it will work in your favor to launch at least a Live Beta or Private Beta by week 10, this will be taken into consideration when selecting the top 5 winners.
